ARCH1101 Task 1

This is one of a series of abstract images created using Photoshop and MAYA. The idea behind this piece of work was to create apparent complexity in graphics using basic graphic editng techniques. In this case extrusion of 3D objects and a series of brush techniques was used to create metallic feel and gloss, thus adding perspective to the image.















The dome house of architect Charles McBride Ryan reveals the darker nature of the industry. Hardly original, the concept of the dome house was based of existing designs, as the architect freely admitted to have borrowed ideas and played games with them, it is “an illustration of many postmodern works created (or should we say, wrought?) over the past decade or more. (The Age June 22, 2005)”.














The image of the parot been fed suggests of the interaction between humanity and nature to bring out the natural beauty. This is not only limited to the visual sense, but also invoke feelings for nature, suggestive of the balance bewteen human and the natural world to present beauty of the highest degree.
